Elise McJannet is a paediatric dietitian who has extensive experience working with children of all ages to manage their nutritional needs. Elise has been working at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) for over 6 years, and prior to this worked at the Childrens Hospital at Westmead. Elise holds a Master of Dietetics from Deakin University, and a Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition (RCH). Elise has worked across a range of clinical areas including oncology, cystic fibrosis, cardiology, special care nursery, adolescents/eating disorders and home enteral nutrition. Elise also has previous experience in private practice working with children with gastrointestinal conditions (including Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Coeliac Disease), food intolerances, allergies, poor growth, obesity and fussy eating.
Elise is passionate about working together with children, adolescents and their families to provide practical advice and support to address their specific nutritional issues.
In her spare time Elise loves cooking, spending time outdoors and is kept very busy with her two young girls!
